Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join the Laboratory Department at Ontario, Galion or Bucyrus locations. The MLT will operate under the Laboratory Manager, performing procedures to support diagnosis and treatment, maintaining analyzers, and training staff.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor in MLT or related science with an Associate in MLT, a current BLS certificate, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology, or Bachelor in a laboratory related science with an Associate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Adheres to State, Federal and accrediting body regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides laboratory services in accordance with accepted standards and practices.
• Performs procedures to aid diagnosis and monitoring of medical treatment.
• Maintains chemistry analyzers and trains others on proper procedures.
