Job summary

Valley Health in Winchester, Virginia, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our Laboratory – 207010 team on a regular full-time basis. This role supports third shift operations and participates in a wide range of lab analyses.

You will perform automated and manual testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology, and Serology, with phlebotomy involvement if applicable, and ensure instrument maintenance and QC calibration are performed accurately.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a chemical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science from an accredited institution.
• Note: Alternative degrees in science and U.S. military laboratory training can be accepted if CLIA requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology and Serology.
• Proficient in phlebotomy if applicable and instrument maintenance.
• Interpret calibrations and quality control results; prioritize work under stress.
