Valley Health System seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform automated and manual testing across Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology and Serology, while prioritizing accuracy and patient safety.

The role requires an Associate degree in a chemical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science and may include phlebotomy responsibilities. The candidate should handle a range of ages with professionalism and composure under pressure.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in chemical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Alternative degrees in science or U.S. military laboratory training can be accepted if CLIA requirements are met.
• Transcripts must be submitted with application.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology and Serology.
• Interpret calibrations and QC results, and maintain instrument performance.
