Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a Relevant Science with technician training and MLT eligibility under CLIA regulations.
• ASCP certification is preferred or registry eligible with certification within a year of hire.
• Minimum four months clinical internship as part of approved training program.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived, moderate and high-complexity testing under supervision.
• Performs and documents instrument maintenance and calibration.
• Reports results within required time limits, including STAT and critical values.
• Collects specimens per laboratory policies for timely testing.
• Participates in QA activities and proficiency testing to meet standards.
