Job summary

Cape Fox Corporation is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician to support the Navy Facility at Camp Pendleton, California. The role involves performing a full range of lab tests across multiple sections, with a 12-hour shift schedule (3 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next).

Qualifications

• Graduate from a NAACLS/ABHES accredited program OR AMT-equivalent program.
• Certification/registration as determined by ASCP or AMT.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of clinical laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and more.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure proper state of properties.
• Calibrate, standardize, and maintain instruments; perform quality control checks.
• Identify causes of problems and perform simple repairs; ensure instrument operation.
• Conduct quality control procedures and maintain documentation.
