Job summary

Cape Fox subsidiary Concentric Methods is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist (On-Call) to support at Camp Pendleton, CA. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $58.40 for up to 40 hours, including H&W, with benefits such as holidays, sick/vacation leave and 401K match.

Responsibilities include correlating history with exams, collaborating with physicians across specialties, recognizing anatomical variants, documenting tests, performing QC, instructing patients, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an academic program accredited by CAAHEP.
• Graduate from an academic program accredited by CAAHEP.
• ARDMS certification in the identified specialty.

Responsibilities

• Correlate patient history with the exam to be performed and retrieve prior studies for comparison.
• Consult with physicians across obstetrics, gynecology, cardiology and surgery regarding history and preliminary diagnoses.
• Identify normal anatomical variants and changes from procedures.
• Document arrival, departure and completed tests and forward image series to radiologist per protocol.
• Perform system warmups, calibrations and quality control procedures as required.
• Explain procedures to patients and assist in positioning for examinations.
• Assist in archiving records for performed procedures and report any adverse reactions to contrast media.
