Job summary

Cape Fox Eagle Health, LLC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician in West Point, NY. The role entails performing a wide range of laboratory duties, from chemistry to microbiology, hematology and transfusion services.

The position includes health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a 401K with company match. The hourly pay is $43.64 for up to 40 hours per week, comprising a base rate of $38.55 and $5.09 H&W per hour as required by SCLS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex lab exams and select appropriate procedures.
• Set up equipment and calibrate analyzers; run quality controls.
• Verify and certify results in the lab computer system; notify with panic values.
• Perform hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, transfusion services and related duties.
• Perform phlebotomy and proper specimen handling as directed.
