Pride Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support a clinical diagnostics lab in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected organization while contributing to high-quality patient care.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15220

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $22-25.00/hr (W2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and moderate complexity clinical lab tests under senior lab personnel direction
• Enter, review, and report results through LIS systems
• Conduct QC checks, track reagent dates, and ensure test validity
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
• Support senior staff by managing workload, freeing up time for data review/release
• Perform safe and accurate specimen handling, analysis, and documentation
• May assist during agency inspections and training efforts

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related field (required); Bachelor's degree preferred
• Certifications: ASCP preferred
• Experience: At least 1 year of lab experience preferred; prior tech qualification under 42 CFR 493.1433 (1990) accepted
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LIS systems; excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
