Fairview is hiring a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to work at M Health Fairview Clinic - Burnsville. This position also supports clinics in M Health Fairview Clinic - Prior Lake, M Health Fairview Clinic - Edina, and M Health Fairview Clinic - Eden Prairie. Clinic hours are from 6:45 am to 6:30 pm. The role includes weekend shifts (1 out of 5) at one of the south region Urgent Care locations, with shifts between 8:00 am and 8:30 pm.
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) plays a vital role in providing high-quality, proficient, and professional laboratory services to diverse populations within an ambulatory healthcare environment. Responsibilities include performing waived or moderate complexity testing following standard operating procedures (SOP), analyzing data and understanding technical and instrumental factors affecting testing results, performing quality control procedures, and potentially involved in specimen collection and handling. The MLT works independently under general supervision.
