Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican in Belvidere, IL is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for 0.9 FTE with shifts from 7:00 to 19:30, three days per week, including rotating weekends and holidays. Work location is UW Health Belvidere Hospital, 1625 S State St, Belvidere IL.

Pay ranges from $31.71 to $47.56 per hour and comprehensive benefits are provided—PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement, disability, paternity leave, adoption assistance, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science (MLS) required; master's degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology required.

Job description

90% FTE, 7am - 730pm, 3 days a week. Rotating weekends and holidays. You will work at UW Health Belvidere Hospital 1625 S State St Belvidere IL.

Pay: $31.71 - $47.56 / hr

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Work Experience

• 1 year healthcare or lab related work experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification (Medical Lab Science, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, Molecular Biology) by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)or similar agency preferred. Preferred
