Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences required.
• ASCP Certification required (MLT/MT/MLA/Histologists).
• 1-2 years laboratory experience required.
• Must be able to work independently, multi-task, and adhere to written protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform all instruments and testing per CLIA requirements.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and records.
• Maintain QC records and instrument calibrations.
• Adhere to corrective action policies when test systems fail.
• Identify and communicate test performance issues to supervisors/clinical staff.
• Document corrective actions when tests deviate from specs.
