Responsibilities

• After orientation and competency assessment, perform all instruments and testing methods applicable to the role.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling, test analysis, reporting, and record maintenance.
• Maintain records showing proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Adhere to QC policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Identify and escalate problems affecting test performance or results.
• Document corrective actions when tests deviate from specifications.
