ChristianaCare is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform diagnostic testing across General Lab, Blood Bank, Microbiology and Cancer Center sections. The role requires adherence to safety and quality controls while maintaining accurate documentation and timely results.

Candidates should hold a BS in Medical Technology or related science and be ASCP eligible or equivalent. The position offers hourly pay and opportunities for growth within a large hospital system.

Formación

• BS in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.
• BS in a chemical, physical or biological science.
• No laboratory work experience required, recent graduate acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Performs test procedures accurately as described in the procedure manual.
• Verifies specimen identification and processes orders, adheres to turnaround times, documents calls, and verifies critical values.
• Follows quality control procedures and documents corrective actions.
