Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens.
• Provides clinical correlation of results and rapid notification of critical values.
• Ensures automated equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting; contacts vendors as needed.
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures and maintains records.
• Participates in proficiency testing and contributes to validation of new procedures/equipment.
