Qualifications

• Bachelors Of Science in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA., upon hire

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens adhering to SOPs to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Provides excellent patient care through clinical correlation of results, rapid notification of critical values, and testing within turn-around-time limits
• Maintains and calibrates major automated equipment; contacts vendor for repair as needed
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures and maintains records
• Performs proficiency testing and reviews results with laboratory leaders
• Assists in evaluating and documenting validation of new procedures and equipment for current technology
