Summary
The Medical Laboratory Scientist I, in their role as Testing Personnel as defined by CLIA, are responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting waived and non-waived test results. Under general supervision, each individual performs only those tests authorized by the laboratory manager, requiring a skill level consistent with their education, training, or experience, and technical abilities.

Licenses and Credentials
Medical Technologist (ASCP) certification preferred.
Experience
