Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLT considered) for a part-time role in Cleburne, TX. The position supports the laboratory team, ensuring specimen integrity, reliable test procedures, and adherence to quality controls in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates hold an MT/MLS credential with ASCP and have internship or experience in a medical laboratory, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MT program or equivalent Science required.
• Internship in an approved Medical Technician training program required.
• 2 years' experience in a Medical Laboratory preferred.
• MLS (ASCP) Medical Lab Scientist required within 6 months after hire.
• MT (ASCP) Medical Technologist required within 6 months after hire.
• Licenses (AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS- CA, FL, NY state license, Philippine Board) required within 6 months after hire.
• M(ASCP) - Microbiology if working in Microbiology required within 6 months after hire.
• Strong positive interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Problem solving ability, time management skills.
• Possess organizational skills to function successfully in a fast-paced work environment.
• Computer literate.
