Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent clinical laboratory experience as an MLS or recent MLS/CLS program graduate.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Basic Life Support within 3 months of hire.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Experience meeting national certification exam requirements per CLIA 493.1491.

Responsibilities

• Testing, processing, and performance of waived to high complexity testing per procedures.
• Quality control, quality assurance, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Specimen processing and accuracy in computer data entry and result retrieval.
• Serve as a frontline technical resource and update laboratory procedures.
