• Performs and reports test results for clinical laboratory procedures, automated or manual.
• Monitors quality control, quality assurance, preventive maintenance and proficiency testing.
• Consults with physicians, nurses, pharmacists on methodologies and interpretation of results.
• Instructs and trains CLS staff and students in procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment and test methods as needed.
