Base pay range

$64,812.00/yr - $103,709.00/yr

Job Summary:

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), you will be responsible for obtaining or receiving specimens, performing clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures, understanding method principles, performing quality control, preventive maintenance, and interpreting results accurately within critical limits. The MLS works independently, organizing work to meet deadlines and validating all data obtained.

Core Lab/Generalist - Available Shifts:

• Full Time Day Shift: M-F 7AM-3:30PM; Every 3rd weekend & holiday
• Full Time Evening Shift: M-F 2:30PM-11:00PM; Every 3rd weekend & holiday
• Full Time Night Shift: M-F 10:30PM-7AM; Every 3rd weekend & holiday
• Part Time Night Shift: M-F 10:30PM-7AM; Every 3rd weekend & holiday

The ideal candidate will:

• Obtain or receive specimens.
• Perform clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures and understand method principles.
• Perform quality control and preventive maintenance.
• Interpret results accurately and within critical limits.
• Work independently, organizing work to meet deadlines.
• Validate all data obtained.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science, or a Bachelor's in another field with completion of a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science program, or MT-HEW certification in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

Experience:

• Clinical Laboratory Science Experience Required

Certification and Licensure:

• ASCP or AMT eligible
