Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II in Westfield, IN. The role is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with rotational weekends, offering a starting pay range of $26.97 per hour and potential performance bonuses.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of full-time clinical lab experience, a MT/MLS/biology/chemistry background, and ASCP preferred. The position includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement within a regulated laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• One (1) year full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant field (MT/ MLS or equivalent) may be required; ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report on assigned analytical tests following SOPs with QC.
• Troubleshoot instruments/procedures and provide support for quality control and process improvements.
• Enter test results into the Laboratory Information System for reporting to physicians.
• Maintain safe, clean laboratory workspaces and comply with CLIA/HIPAA/OSHA requirements.
• Assist with training of other staff as needed.
