Responsibilities

• Verifies routine results and quality control data for accuracy and reliability.
• Performs, evaluates and documents QC, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintains current Florida license as a Medical Technologist as required by the lab.
• Communicates critical results to the patient caregiver and reports unusual findings.
• Maintains compliance with Baptist Health policies and procedures.
• Performs specimen collection, processing, and related duties as required.
