Qualifications

• 1 year clinical experience (high complexity testing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow specimen handling and processing procedures; report results.
• Maintain records that proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Follow established policies when test systems exceed performance levels.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisor.
