Summary of Job Duties: This role is for a Medical Laboratory Scientist I in the Cell Therapy Lab at UAMS. Responsibilities include processing, freezing, and storing hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPC), participating in thawing and transplant procedures, performing high-complexity testing, maintaining accurate paperwork, performing quality control and preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The staff will also assist with inspections, audits, and other duties as assigned.
