Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Two (2) years of technical experience post training in high and moderate complexity testing.
• Meets CLIA requirements and qualifies as General Supervisor/Technical Consultant per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports results for waived, moderate, and high complexity lab procedures per SOPs.
• Monitors quality control and quality management; investigates variances and manages inventory.
• Instructs students and staff; ensures safety and proper operation of instrumentation.
• Communicates critical values to the healthcare team and maintains documentation.
