Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dedicated laboratory team. The MLS conducts routine and complex tests across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology to support patient diagnosis and care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in laboratory science and ASCP/NC certification (or eligibility). Experience with blood bank is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in laboratory science required.
• Certification (ASCP/NC) or equivalent required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and/or microbiology.
• Maintain quality results by running standards and controls and calibrating equipment.
• Ensure accuracy and timely results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
