Job summary

Providence Edmonds is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform assays accurately and timely on patient samples using automated and manual testing procedures. You will support physicians in diagnosis and treatment while upholding safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

You will maintain compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies and contribute to a culture of patient-focused care in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related discipline required.
• Nationally recognized laboratory credentials (MLS/MT) to be obtained upon hire.
• Certifications listed by the employer may include ASCP or AMT variants.
• Experience with automated and manual testing procedures preferred.

Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.
