Qualifications

• Completion of 1 year approved internship program in Medical Technology.
• California CLS license required upon hire.
• 3 years experience in multiple laboratory science disciplines as licensed CLS/MT in acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and analytical testing within the laboratory department.
• Conduct quality assurance activities and documentation.
• Handle clerical tasks as assigned to support lab operations.

Under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor, the clinical Laboratory Scientist uses professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, analytical, clerical and quality assurance functions within laboratory department section(s) as assigned.
