Qualifications

• ASCP certification required.

• Blood bank/transfusion services experience is a plus.

From managing blood supply operations to ensuring diagnostic accuracy and patient safety, Navy MLS officers play a direct role in saving lives—both at home and forward deployed worldwide.

As a Navy MLS, You Will

• Lead clinical laboratory operations

Basic Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Medical Technology (MT), Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), or a natural science
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (including core science coursework)
• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited MLS/CLS/MT program
• ASCP certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical laboratory experience
• Leadership/supervisory experience highly desired
• Blood bank/transfusion services experience is a plus
