Job summary

U.S. Navy seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and oversee comprehensive laboratory testing across hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology, and blood banking.

The role supports diagnosis and treatment for service members and families while ensuring accuracy and quality control in a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have MT/CLS/MLS training (MS preferred), NAACLS-certified program, ASCP certification, and at least three years of recent clinical lab experience.

Qualifications

• Three years of clinical laboratory experience within the last six years (excluding research/vet labs).
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee clinical lab testing across hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology, and blood banking.
• Ensure accuracy and quality control of lab results and comply with clinical lab standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and health care team to support diagnosis and treatment for service members and families.
