You will analyze results, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, calibrate equipment, and collaborate with physicians and staff to provide accurate diagnostic information for patient care. A bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or CLS and MLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field required.
  • NAACLS-accredited MLS program preferred.
  • ASCP/AAB/AMT MT/MLS certification preferred.
  • Valid state license as required by the state.
  • BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood banking, and urinalysis.
  • Analyze, validate, and interpret test results to ensure diagnostic accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting according to established protocols.
  • Review and verify patient specimens to confirm accuracy before testing.
  • Maintain laboratory records and input data into LIS; assist in QA programs.
