Responsibilities

• Analyze, validate, and interpret results to ensure accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment per protocols.
• Review patient specimens for accuracy before testing.
• Maintain LIS data entry and records.
• Assist in quality assurance and proficiency testing programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to address diagnostic concerns.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen processing as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area with infection control practices.
• Participate in ongoing continuing education and stay current with lab tech advancements.
