Qualifications

• ASCP/AAB/AMT MT/MLS certification preferred.
• Valid state license as required by the state.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood banking.
• Analyze, validate, and interpret test results for diagnostic accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment per protocols.
• Verify patient specimens for testing accuracy before analysis.
• Maintain LIS data entry and laboratory records with precision.
• Support quality assurance, proficiency testing, and equipment validation.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to address diagnostic concerns.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen processing as needed.
• Keep work area clean and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Participate in continuing education and stay current with lab technology advancements.
