Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, analysis and reporting of results.
• Maintain records showing proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures and review results.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Document quality control activities and instrument calibrations.
