INDLABPHARM seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist I to perform routine and specialized tests on blood and body fluids, ensuring accurate results. You’ll support patient care by efficient testing, instrument troubleshooting, and data collection for regulatory compliance.

This role may include teaching duties and phlebotomy as required, with a focus on adherence to safety, quality control, and teamwork in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related science required.
• Proficiency exam approved by HHS (HEW) required.
• 0-2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized lab tests with accuracy and timely reporting.
• Maintains quality control procedures and documents results.
• Conducts instrument checks and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoots instrument issues and communicates findings.
• Ensures safety compliance and proper PPE usage.
• Communicates test results and issues to healthcare staff.
• Assists with proficiency testing and regulatory data collection.
• Performs phlebotomy duties as needed.
