Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a clinical lab field.
• No experience required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests within established protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports findings per policy.
• Maintains and calibrates instruments, performs quality control and corrective actions.
• Handles proficiency testing and related accreditation requirements.
• Supports newborn to adult specimen collection and labeling.
• Provides technical assistance to phlebotomists and support staff.
• Strives to improve lab processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Performs specialized testing across transfusion services, microbiology, chemistry, hematology, histology, coagulation, and flow cytometry.
• Provides timely lab results to critical care departments during high acuity events.
