Job summary

Labcorp in Redmond, WA is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to join our team on the Wed–Sat 10:00 PM–8:30 AM night shift, including rotating holidays. You will perform routine and complex testing, monitor instrumentation and ensure accurate results to support patient care.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or Medical Technology and ASCP or AMT certification, with strong attention to detail, teamwork, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification.
• Pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE.

Labcorp is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to join our team in Redmond, WA

Work Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday night shift 10:00PM- 8:30AM including rotating holidays

Job Responsibilities:

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
• Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
• Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Life Science, Medical Technology
• ASCP or AMT certification

All job offers will bebased on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.

**Pay Range: $34.25 - $52.14 per hour

Plus 3RD shift differential

Benefits: Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year, Tuition Reimbursement and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan
