Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to join our Issaquah, WA team. The role involves determining specimen acceptability, performing routine and complex procedures, monitoring instrumentation, and maintaining quality control to deliver accurate patient results.

You will prepare reagents, troubleshoot equipment, and report findings to support timely, high-quality patient care. The schedule is Monday–Friday dayshift with rotating weekends and holidays, in a collaborative, safety‑conscious

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE.

LabCorp is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to join our team in Issaquah , WA.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday dayshift shift 06:00AM- 2:30PM including rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
• Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
• Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Medical Technology
• ASCP or AMT certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience

Pay Range

$34.25 - $52.14 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.
