Job summary

EngageMED, Inc. is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician in Arkansas to perform routine and moderately complex testing across hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis. The role involves specimen analysis, reporting, QC, and instrument maintenance to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

You will collaborate with providers and healthcare staff while adhering to CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards in a non-exempt, safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program required.
• Eligibility for ASCP or AMT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and other laboratory testing using approved procedures.
• Prepare, process, and analyze patient specimens and report results.
• Prepare slides for microscopic examination.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, validity, and critical values.
• Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform routine instrument maintenance.
• Document quality control activities and corrective actions.
• Communicate critical values to providers per policy.
• Maintain laboratory records and LIS/EHR documentation.
• Comply with CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety standards.

Education

Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

Graduation from an accredited MLT program
