Qualifications

• Capable of performing laboratory procedures and necessary quality controls.
• TN State MT License required.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and venipuncture per established procedures.
• Reports panic values within 10 minutes of test completion and notifies the provider.
• Verifies that quality control values are acceptable before testing samples.
• Maintains QC documentation and routine maintenance activities as required.
• Ensures proper specimen handling and accurate patient/test matching.
• Communicates results promptly to physicians and supervisory staff.
