Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinic Medical Lab Technician to analyze blood and body fluids, ensuring accurate testing and timely reporting in a fast-paced clinical lab. You will operate and troubleshoot sophisticated equipment and maintain strict quality control to support patient care.

The role involves floating to satellite clinics including Breezy Point, Baxter, and Crosby with varying shift lengths and some Saturday requirements.

Qualifications

• For CLIA: able to provide a copy of highest diploma or degree attained.
• ASCP, NCA, or AMT certification within one year of hire.
• Associate Degree in Medical Technology for Clinical Laboratory Science.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blood and other body fluids to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure accurate and efficient testing with quality control and timely reporting of results.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; maintain specimen integrity.

A Day in the Life of a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) – Which Clinic

As a Clinic Medical Lab Technician, you will be pivotal in analyzing blood and other body fluids to aid in diagnosis and treatment of various conditions. Your duties include ensuring accurate and efficient testing, maintaining high standards of specimen integrity, and timely reporting of results, all of which are critical in the fast‑paced environment of clinical laboratory work. Regular collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to integrate lab findings into overall patient care strategies. You will also operate and troubleshoot sophisticated laboratory equipment and maintain rigorous quality control to ensure the reliability of every test. The role encompasses both complex technical tasks and routine maintenance and clerical responsibilities to keep the laboratory functioning optimally.
