Job summary

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Medical Lab Technician for a full-time night schedule. Join a 294-bed facility serving Wilson County and surrounding communities with a mission to provide high-quality care.

You will perform routine tests, maintain instruments, conduct quality control, and ensure test supplies are stocked for efficient lab operations. BLS certification and an Associate's degree in science are required.

What we're looking for

• Education:Associate's degree in science required
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience: Previous management experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working in assessment for chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients. Must have strong clinical assessment skills.
• License:MLT Certified through ASCP or AMT Preferred
• Skills and Abilities: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
