Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Life Science or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification is required.
• Color vision test required.
• Flexibility for overtime and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability and perform routine and complex technical procedures
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
• Prepare, test and evaluate reagents or controls according to protocols
• Execute preventative maintenance and quality control procedures with documentation
• Report accurate test results and identify supply needs to maintain bench operations

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Life Science or Medical Technology
• ASCP or AMT certification
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Compensation

$27.91 - $41.93 per hour plus third shift differential
