Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd, located in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area, is seeking an MLT/MT for a part-time role (48 hours biweekly). Responsibilities include performing high-complexity testing, maintaining QC standards, and working within SOPs to deliver accurate results.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related biological science from an accredited institution.
• ASCP or AMT certification.
• Must meet CLIA ’88 standards to be qualified as testing personnel.

• Maintain records of performance and utilize independent judgement to generate acceptable test results within QC standards.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support clinical excellence.

In this role, you must haveknowledge of Clinical Laboratory Science, possess the skills necessary to perform high complexity testing and have anunderstanding of the clinical relevance of laboratory testing and reporting. Must maintain records of performance and utilize independent judgement to generate acceptable test results within QCstandards. Performs testing according to standard operating procedures.
