• Associate's degree in Medical Technology (AMA approved school) is required.
• Licenses and Certifications: MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN (ASCP or equivalent) required upon hire.
• No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of routine and designated laboratory tests with established competency.
• Performs routine quality control and QA tasks according to protocol; escalates complex issues to senior staff.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory instruments.
• Maintains accurate laboratory records and computer files; uses LIS terminals as needed.
• May act as group leader on weekends/holidays as designated by supervisor.
