LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform and report analyses of various specimens, ensuring high-quality patient care. The position supports night shift coverage with occasional weekends and holidays, and welcomes military experience in medical laboratory roles.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science and MLT certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report analyses of various specimens to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Follow established procedures to obtain accurate results and manage multiple workflows.
• Handle specimens properly and confirm patient and specimen identification.
• Perform instrument maintenance, troubleshooting and quality control.
• Replenish supplies, adhere to reporting protocols, and train new staff.

Join a dynamic laboratory team as a Medical Laboratory Technician, performing and reporting analyses of various specimens to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include accurately obtaining results by following established procedures, managing multiple workflows efficiently, handling specimens properly, confirming patient and specimen identification, performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control. The role involves replenishing supplies, adhering to reporting protocols, navigating computer applications, and assisting in training new staff. Continuous learning through educational activities and competency exams is essential.

The position is for night shift with every other weekend and three holidays per year.

Qualifications include an associate degree in a laboratory science and certification or eligibility as an MLT. Military experience in relevant medical laboratory roles is welcomed.
