Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and quality control procedures in assigned areas.
• Assess results, troubleshoot and document problems and out-of-control results.
• Perform routine and monthly maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
• Maintain inventory sheets and notify coordinator of needs.
• Assist in training students and new employees.
• Operate computer systems handling patient data and quality control.
• Perform phlebotomies as requested.
