Qualifications

• MLT certification (ASCP or AMT) is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Graduate degree or alternative pathway accepted with documented training.
• 3+ months to 1 year of clinical lab experience.
• Experience in chemistry, hematology and microbiology.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests (microscopic, bacteriological, hematological, immunologic).
• Collect, prepare and store specimens.
• Forward test results to physicians.
• Keep accurate records.
• Explain procedures to patients.
• Prepare lab reagents.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Maintain safe working environment.
