Job summary

Clover Health Services in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Medical Lab Specialist to perform routine and complex tests, collect and prepare specimens, and forward results to physicians. The role requires an MLT certification (ASCP/AMT) and CPR/BLS, with an associate degree or 3+ months of lab training and 3+ months of experience in chemistry, hematology, or microbiology.

Shifts run 07:00 AM–07:00 PM, start 2026-08-10 for 7 weeks, with weekly pay between $1,715 and $1,885.

Qualifications

• MLT certification required (ASCP/AMT)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Associate degree or 3+ months lab training with 3+ months experience acceptable
• Experience in chemistry, hematology, microbiology preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests (microscopic, bacteriological, hematological, immunologic).
• Collect, prepare and store specimens.
• Forward test results to physicians.
• Keep accurate records.
• Explain procedures to patients.

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments.
