Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist (PRN) to perform routine and complex analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids with minimal supervision. You will assist management in monitoring quality control data to ensure accuracy and precision of results.

Required: Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Science, ASCP certification or registry-eligible status with a plan to become certified. Preference for MLS certification and 1 year post-grad lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field
• ASCP Certification or equivalent certification as MLS; registry eligible if not certified at hire
• Preferred: MLS certification by ASCP or equivalent
• Clinical rotation as MLS student is required
• Preferred: one year post graduate laboratory experience
